Overdue update on my Punk-A-Doodle!!

It has been a while since I have bragged on my beautiful little girls amazing talents!!! She has developed so much over the last few months! As of today she is 20 months old, only 4 more months to go until we hit the terrible 2's!! She is the easiest baby in the world to get to sleep, all we do now is say our prayers, say nite-nite, kiss and a hug and lay her down and off to dreamland she goes!!! She sleeps all night long, but has been doing that since she was 6 weeks old (I know...I'm blessed!!) She sleeps until about 9:00 sometimes 10:00 a.m. and goes to bed at 8:30 p.m. She is down to one nap a day, usually around 1:00 and lasts several hours, just enough time for mama to get her housework done!! She has a LARGE vocabulary!! She will repeat anything and I do mean ANYTHING you say!! We have to watch our words! But more than just being a parrot, she learns the word being said!! She has started pairing 2 and 3 words together, and that is becoming a common occurrence. She can hold an entire "phone" conversation. If she wants to talk to someone, she tells me, I give her my old cell phone (so that she cant call china!!) she opens it, presses some buttons and her conversation goes something like this " Hello, hey (insert name here... usually daddy, khaki, dullie, holly, Gracie or aunt e)(today it was Joe!) she jabbers a little bit, then says OK bye-bye!! and hangs up!! Her imagination has no limits!!! I'm not even going to try to list all of the words and phrases she knows, it would take too long!!! She probably knows somewhere in the neighborhood of 200 words or so and can pair any of them together at any given time! Something new today was "Mama, Quit!!" while I was tickling her toes!! She does still baby jabber a lot and rarely does she perform on command (what child does what you want them to do when you want them to do it?) but we have such a blast at home playing and learning. She repeated the entire alphabet to me in the bathtub the other night!! Speaking of baths...she loves them! When I get her out, she wants to get right back in!! She loves to brush her teeth, loves lotion and powder, loves to put mouse in her hair and if she sits still while mama puts her make-up on, she gets a little!!! She can be such a girly-girl and then turn around and want to play in the mud and ride 4-wheelers!! I just love my punk-a-doodle soo much!! But I'm her mama, and mama's tend to do that don't they? Oh, and if your wondering where Punk-A-Doodle came from, it is what I have called Abigail since the day she was born, just my own special little name for my beautiful talented smart independent and loving baby girl!!! There will never be another like her!!!
