Christmas 2008!!!

I can't believe that it is Christmas already!! Time is going by way too fast. Abigail is growing more and more everyday, and never stops learning. Robbie and I were talking a few days ago and realized that Christmas is only a little over a week away, after Christmas, its New Years, then my birthday then Valentines Day then Easter then BOOM!!!! Abigail is 2 YEARS OLD!!! I'm not ready for her to be 2! Its all happening way too fast and my little baby girl is going to be my little terrible 2 year old! I'm sure it wont be that bad. Forgive me, I'm in a nostalgic mood. Brought on by the fact that I no longer have to rock her to sleep. Tonight all I did was put her in her crib (lights on) give her her blanket (goo) and her Binky (pacifier), tell her that her mama and daddy loved her and to have sweet dreams, turn off the lights and walk out!!! She didn't make a sound! I should be happy! This is what Ive been working for!! But I have rocked that precious baby to sleep every night of her life...except for tonight. Its bittersweet. But I'm done going on and on about that. I'm going to focus on my next challenge, NO BINKY!! We did it one night but that's all so far!! I have received requests for more pics of Abigail, so here you go Aunt Lavonda!!!

Sick, Sick, Sick. and update on little Robbie

I am VERY sick. Abigail and I both went to the doctor today. She just has a cold, I on the other hand have Pharyngitis. Not fun. I think I would feel tons better if someone would just tear my throat off. It hurts to swallow, eat, drink, talk, sit still BREATHE!!! Now im getting stopped up and a slight cough. My hip hurts too cause I got a rocephin shot. At least he GAVE me a shot though. This has been going on since Wednesday, and only getting worse. I'm sorry for complaining, I just dont feel worth a crap and need to get it out I guess. Abigail is feeling pretty good though, she just has a runny nose but I had to be sure she didnt have what I did. Update on Robbie's nephew: He is now at home, from what Robbie told me, he is doing good. Thank you all for your prayers. Promise my next post wont be so dramatic!!!

Catching Up...

Well, sorry folks for not keeping with my promise to blog everyday. If you only knew what has been happening around here, you would understand. Lets see if I can catch you up...

1. My cousin Matthew is getting married, I am the Matron of Honor, (enough said!!!) I have courageously taken on the responsibilities of helping the bride, my friend Jenny, plan the wedding. This has been going on for several months now, but is continually getting more stressful seeing as how the wedding is November 8th. (AAAAAHHHHHH, one week away!!!!!)

2. Abigail has had two, count 'em, TWO ear infections in the past 3 weeks. Which for us meant no sleep for 4 days, and she didnt eat a bite for 4 days. Her mouth was hurting as well, she was cutting two jaw teeth at the same time. (I know, it was horrible for all of us)

3. My grandmother turned 87 years old on the 21st.YYYYAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! Several of my aunts, my mom and I all planned an elaborate surprise party for her. My entire family was invited, and I have a huge family. It was like a family reunion. Here is a pic of me and Robbie from that day.

4. This Friday is Halloween, Abigail is Tinkerbell and I fully intended to dress up as Peter Pan and take her trick or treating, my best friend Amie is Ragedy Ann, and Robbie and Amie's husband Joey are gonna be huntin buddies. I havent been able to find a costume anywhere and my attempt to make one didnt work out so well. Needless to say I wont be dressing up, unless I put on my camo outfit and be a hunter like Robbie and Joey. I dont think Amie would like that very much though!!!

5. I have to work on Halloween and there is an 8:oo curfew. We have to trick or treat in 3 different towns. I havent the foggiest idea how we are going to accomplish this!!!

6. Saturday is the lingerie/bath shower that I am throwing for Jenny. AT MY HOUSE!!!! Ive lost my mind!! I spent all day today cleaning up and cleaning out and scrubbing things that I didnt even know were dirty!!!!

And to top all of this off, and I didnt even bother to bore you with everything, me and Robbie recieved some disturbing news last night. Im not going to go into any details but trust me, our family needs prayers for Robbies nephew. He is 6 years old and has suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns to his arm, back and stomach. Please Please Please pray for him to heal. Word is that he is in good spirits. Lets all pray for a speedy recovery. Now then, here are a few new pics of my beautiful little angel!!! Enjoy!!!

A Day Outside

Abigail has been sick for the past few days (ear infection, sore throat and sinus infection, yuck!) so we have been stuck inside. Today she wanted to go outside and play so I grabbed my camera and out we went!! Robbie's old cat Belle showed up (she comes and goes) and Abigail just loved her!! She pet her and said kitty kitty kitty and meowed when Belle meowed!!! It was too cute! Oh, before I forget, Abigail can say her name now!!! It comes out as Abigee and she can also say abby (but we're not encouraging that!!!!lol)

Eating by Herself

Well, Abigail has pretty much mastered the art of eating(or feeding, rather) herself! Yay, Abigail!!! It is the cutest thing, she holds a real spoon like a big girl and scoops the food up, makes a couple of airplane noises, and into the mouth it goes!!! Every now and then, she thinks that I am hungry too and gives me a bite!! Sometimes she wants to feed her puppies as well, but she only threw one spoonful onto the floor today, so we are steadily making progress!!! She is just growing up too fast!!!!

Weekend Fun!

Well, Amie and Joey have gone home after a great visit. I just love it when they come to town! So does lil miss Abigail! We always have such a blast, my dad normally sets up the shop with all of his music equipment and we go out there and sing along with c.d.'s and just act crazy in general. This afternoon while I was getting dressed to go to a birthday party, Amie grabbed my camera and started taking pics of Abigail, she put on her converse shoes and rolled her little pants legs up so you could see them. Both of them had a ball!They love each other so much, and I know it melted Amie's heart when Abigail said her name! Amie got some really great shots. For those of you who know Robbie well, you know that the face that Abigail is making in this picture came straight from him!!! She is such a goober!!

Me and my BESTEST friend!!!

Ok, so my Bestest Friend EVER came over and we had just a LITTLE bit of fun!!! We had her husband take these pics of us. We were being completly retarded but we had a GREAT time!! She looks awesome in this pic but I just look like a dork!!
Our husbands spent the night playing the X-BOX like a couple of kids!! Amie is very persuasive and actually got them to smile for this pic, which involved them looking away from the t.v. An amazing accomplishment I promise!!!
